Terms of Service — Maggies Tanks

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of maggiestanks.com (the "Site") and any order you place with us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who we are
Maggies Tanks is a trading name of Platinum Sage, a company registered in England and Wales, with a registered address at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can reach us at Hello@maggiestanks.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any payment details you provide belong to you or that you're authorized to use them.
3. Products and pricing
We make every reasonable effort to display our products, colors, and sizing accurately, but slight variations between what you see on screen and the product you receive can happen (for example, due to display settings). Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may vary by region. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, update prices, or change product availability at any time before an order is confirmed. Once an order is confirmed, the price you were charged is the price that applies to that order.
4. Orders and payment
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy that product, which we're free to accept or decline (for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues). Payment is processed securely through our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.
5. Shipping
We offer free shipping on all orders. Estimated delivery timeframes shown on the Site are estimates only, not guarantees, and actual delivery times can vary. Risk of loss and title for items you purchase pass to you once the order is delivered to the shipping carrier.
6. Returns, exchanges, and our guarantee
Returns, exchanges, and our 90-day guarantee are covered in full in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. If you're in the UK or EU, that policy also explains your separate statutory right to cancel an order within 14 days of delivery.
7. Reviews and content you submit
If you submit a product review, photo, or other content to us (including through a review platform we may use), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with marketing and operating the Site. Please only submit content that is genuinely your own and that you have the right to share. We may remove any submitted content at our discretion, for example if it's inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates someone else's rights.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or other users' accounts
- Copy, scrape, or reproduce the Site's content, images, or product descriptions without our permission
- Interfere with the Site's normal operation, including through malware, bots, or automated scraping tools
9. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, product photography, and design, is owned by or licensed to Platinum Sage and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use our name, logo, or content without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and its products are provided "as is." Other than the guarantee described in our Refund & Return Policy, we don't make any additional warranties about the products beyond what's stated on the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platinum Sage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you're entitled to in your own country of residence.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
